Behind the theater are the remains of the Temple of Aphrodite, south-east Stone Quarries these Intagliata and Intagliatella.
At the foot of the hill where the auditorium of the theater, other quarries known as the Temples Ferali. Further down, a path marked by bas-reliefs carved into the limestone, called by locals “gurus” really exciting witness to the cult of Cybele, the Great Mother Goddess of the ancient Mediterranean world and Eastern Europe.
The present city is spread among baroque churches (prominent St. Sebastian, St. Paul and the Church of the Annunciation) alleys and courtyards of medieval flavor, Sicilian Baroque palaces and manor where it intersects with eight hundred Bourbon and more recently liberty .
Of particular interest is a visit to the house – museum, due to the dedicated work of the lamented ethnologist Antonino Uccello, preserves important examples of material culture and folklore ibleo and Sicily.
